Apple shipped 2 million copies of its Leopard operating system over the weekend, the company said Tuesday, sales volume that underscores Apple's renewed importance as a personal computer maker. Apple said the sales far outstripped the release of Max OS X Tiger, which had previously been the best-selling OS in the company's history.
