Developer's Image Library 1.7.1 (Default branch)

Developer's Image Library (DevIL) is a cross-platform image library utilizing a simple syntax to load, save, convert, manipulate, filter, and display a variety of images with ease. It is highly portable and has been ported to several platforms, including the Pocket PC. License: GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) Changes: This release has support for two new formats: Mac OS X .icns and JPEG 2000 .jp2 files. JPEG 2000 support comes from the library JasPer. The larger (256x256 and 512x512) .icns are compressed with JPEG 2000 compression, so those are also supported. A bug in the previous release for PNG-compressed .ico files that have a palette (non-standard) has been fixed.
