beaTunes 0.6 (Default branch)

beaTunes is an iTunes companion app capable of automatically analyzing your music collection to help you build better playlists. It analyzes BPM (beats per minute), silence at the beginning or end of a song, and the color (based on frequency spectrum) of a given song. Some of the data is stored through iTunes, and some is stored by beaTunes itself. Additionally, beaTunes can suggest albums that would complement your music collection and display music charts. It also allows you to blog about selected songs or playlists. License: Other/Proprietary License with Free Trial Changes: This release addresses some major shortcomings of the previous release. The prior version occasionally left some temporary files undeleted. This was fixed. Standard buttons in dialogs can now be confirmed with enter, as it is customary on Mac OS X. The song analysis has been sped up by a factor of about 2. The Library Inspector can now find and delete orphans in the iTunes Music Library. Additionally, memory consumption while syncing with large iTunes Music libraries was lowered significantly.
